so i never really do the LJ thing anymore cuz i don't really have time... but since i don't feel like studying, i thought it would be a good time!

today was a very good day. i got a phone call at 11:14am today, while i was getting ready for work, and it was a friend of mine informing that i had won ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!! omg! seriously that's insane. what's even more insane is what do i do with a grand??? my responsible side is saying to pay off what is left of my tuition and pay bills.. but that's boring!!! the rest of me is thinking that i should just blow it and have a good time ... i.e. MEXICO!!!! i dunno what to do.

i'm also very excited cuz i'm almost done exams... only one left to go! that means that it is almost christmas!!! i love christmas!!!

i hope everyone is having a good exam period and that you all have an amazing christmas (or whatever else you celebrate)!!!

So this is summer and I love it. The beach is the happiest place in the earth! beach, work, and shopping ... such is the life of me during the summer. i've read a bunch of books and spent lots of time in the sun. i took my puppies to the beach a couple of days ago .... it was so much fun! the clean of the car afterwards was not as much fun.
i'm going to see 'the devil wears prada' tomorrow night. i'm really excited. i just finished the book and as girlie and dorky as it sounds, it's actually a really good book.

I think I'm allergic to vitamin E. As soon as I quit using it on my tattoo, the itching stopped. Or maybe, it somehow made the vitamin E made the itching worse. I dunno... but now that I'm not using it I'm not itchy.
What's with the freezing weather? I don't like it. I want summer vacation to be nice and hot. And I want lots of stuff to do. So far I have a bunch of appointments, which will become even more, but they suck and aren't fun stuff. I wanna paint and plant flowers or something. I'm not used to having nothing to do and it feels wierd not procrastinating from doing something. I think I should buy a book. That would be good. Any suggestions?? I suck at picking out books so suggestions are very welcome.
I have to work a 6:45 tomorrow morning so I'm gonna head to bed. Night!

So it's Monday and I've been sick since Thursday. I hate being sick. It makes me all grumpy and sick. I missed work all weekend and got yelled at by one of the managers... stupid people, it's not like I can control being sick.
I got my tattoo on friday, with John by my side. I swear if he hadn't been there I would have chickened out. It hurt like a mofo and I'm never getting another tattoo. Mine's way bigger than I was expecting but it looks good. Right now it's all scabby and itchy doing the healing thing ... so itchy!!!!
So other than being sick and itchy, I haven't done anything lately. My medicine makes me super sleepy so I've been sleeping lots. Yup I'm boring.

It all started yesterday when I had to get up at 5am. {sidenote: that is way to early to have to be alive} I put on my comfiest pair of jeans cuz it was gonna be a long day. So I get to work which is normal, then I had to train this girl... and she is dumb. I don't know if she really is dumb but she seems dumb... oh and she's quiet, quiet people bug me, they're too quiet and it freaks me out, she could be planning on killing me with a pen and I wouldn't even know it.
So after work, at 12:30, I headed to the mall to grab some food before my long travel across Winnipeg to get to my doctor's office. I wanted Famous Wok but they had a huge line up, so I settled on A&W (it was actually really tasty.
Next was the doctor... I hate going to the doctor. I had to have my blood taken and since I apparently have no veins, my arm had no circulation for 5 minutes trying to get som stupid vein to rise. The smallest vein in my body finally came out to say HI and you guys now the rest. After the doctor I had to wait at the bus stop. Normally I don't sit on the benches at the bus but I was feeling sick cuz of the blood thing so I decided to sit. Big Mistake!!!! As I sat down, my absolute most comfiest, worked in jeans ripped, not in any super embarrassing place thankfully but.... THEY RIPPED!!!! I was so sad :(
So later that night I put on a hoodie and headed back to the mall. I went to American Eagle with my dearest ripped jeans and they gave me a new pair for free! YAY FREE JEANS!
I went home and took off my hoodie with a great deal of difficulty since I couldn't bend my arm. I looked at the spot where my blood had been taken and I have a huge bruise. It looks like I'm a junky. I'm all purple and black on my arm. Stupid needles.

Today is tattoo day. I really wish the could do it sans needles after yesterday's needle experience but they can't. I should call and ask ... hmmmm. I'm really excited and even more scared.

i bought new shoes finally and they're super nice and stuff... but the first time i wore them, they gave me blisters. i think that might be an ohmen that me and the shoes are not meant to be. i hate blisters. my shoes are pretty and they cost me money so i'm gonna wear them and break them in and then no more blisters. that's my story. bye.

Right now I'm bored. I know that I should be using this precious spare time to study but I have some huge ranting that needs to be done and anyone that decides to read this has to hear the rantiness ... it's all quite funny to be honest, so if I was you I would read it ;)

So it all starts at my favorite place to be ... Home Depot. Okay, so I've always thought of myself to be a fairly boring person. I do most of the stuff your average 21 year-old does, but yet at work my life is so exciting to everyone. I was talking with my friend Jason at work. He's a pretty cool guy and we work together quite frequently, so naturally we talk about things and stuff of absolutely no importance. So last night he comes up to me and asks if I've heard anything from the HD rumor mill lately. I have to admit I've been trying to stay out of that loop cuz some of the stuff floating around right now are pretty nasty and I don't really wanna hear them (which I know is hard to believe, cuz it's me, but there's some about a couple of really good friends of mine and I already know the truth so what fun are the rumors?) So I told Jason that I hadn't heard much of anything lately and his response was .... "That's probably a good thing considering most of them are about you" :O OMG!!! I guess I'm not that boring anymore!
So I have to admit one of the rumors is true, but I have no idea how it got around the store, but it sure took a long time to get around cuz it happened like 2 months ago. The other rumors are all stupid and made up with bits and pieces of stuff that has actually happened.
The first on is that I stole this girl's boyfriend. Which is partially true ... except for the fact that they broke up in August!!! Not much stealing there as far as I'm concerned. So she hates me now (we were once friends in that kinda way when the only time you hang out is when you go drinking) and she's pretty much spreading that one. The other super funny on is about how I'm a crazy stalker. Now anyone who knows me would know that this is not true in anyway cuz stalking someone, i'm assuming, takes alot of time and effort and I am WAY too lazy to do something like that.
I told the boy (which most of you know about) about all of the rumors and he thought it was hilarious. He's slighty pissed that his ex-girlfriend that he dated for a 2 weeks is still crazy obsessed with him and is now trying to make my life hell. I don't think she realizes that I'm actually a bitch and I really don't care what she's saying. I know the truth and most of the people that hear the rumors ask me about it and then I tell them the truth about what's going on. MY LIFE IS SO FUN!!!

In unranty news .... I'm going to Banff with a few people known as Ryan Stacey Kyle Trevor. Yup! I'm stoked. HEHE i'm going to Banff and you're not..... unless of course you're Ryan Stacey Kyle Trevor. Ryan's Mr Planner and he's doing a fantastic job.... cept for the minor 'how are we getting there glitch' but it's a good. I really wanna go see Brokeback Mountain so if anyone wants to go with me, lemme know cuz I REALLY wanna see it. Like really bad. I saw the preview with my dad and he made some 'who would wanna see a movie like that' comment and I told him that I did then he made a super nasty comment and I told him he was a jerk. Still a 5 year old at heart, except now I'm big and I can say words like jerk instead of meanie and not get in trouble.
What else is new????
My precious baby kitten has a cold or something like that. He keeps coughing and it's not the hairball cough kinda cough. I've never heard a cat cough the way he is. He's being all sleepy and cuddly which really scares me cuz he's normally psyco. I'm giving it a couple of days to go away, and if it's not gone he's going to the kitty doctor. I hope nothing's wrong with him. Poor Milo :( If anyone knows what it could be fill me in please.

That's all the new in my world so far. The rant wasn't that bad and you have to admit that it was funny.

i hope everyone rang in the new year having as much fun as they possibly could. i had an awesome new year's eve. it was so much fun! i saw some friends i hadn't seen in a super long time which made it even better.
it was pretty funny cuz at 7:30 last night i still had no idea what i was doing. so after everything, my friend robyn and i decided we were gonna head over to silverados. very good decision! we had so much fun. i absolutely love being a girl. i paid to get into the bar and then i bought one drink. i will never understand why guys buy girls so many drinks at the bar. i appreciate it and all cuz then i don't have to spend my money, but sometimes i feel bad. it's like giving them false hope that they're actually gonna get some, but in most cases they aren't. the drunker they get the more money the spend. i know a guy that has never once bought a drink for a girl at the bar. i think it's pretty cool that he hasn't.
there was this guy that came up to me last night and said "all night i've wanted to say hi to you" so i said hi and then started laughing! i don't know why i was laughing but i guess something about the situation must have been funny to me.
i wanted to stop by the party chez ryan but since we were cabbing it last night, that wasn't possible.... so to everyone that was there i hope you had fun! i taked to stacey when i was at the bar and told her to tell everyone i said hi. so if she didn't then that's not cool, but i'm sure she did ;)
i wish you all the best in 2006 and hope it's the best year yet!

tonight i wrote my final exam of the term ..... I'M DONE!!!!! i haven't been this excited in a long time. my friends are having a christmas bash friday night, there's the commerce social on thursday (which i really don't want to go to anymore), wednesday is my happy day :D and it's almost christmas and i get presents cuz i'm a greedy little kid at heart hehe!

so school is done for like 2 weeks. i wanna go snowboarding ... so if any one else wants to i think we should go cuz it'll be fun! this week won't work cuz i'm working all week but next week i have a day or 2 off.

until then .... it's gonna be party time and it's gonna be fun!!!!!!

hello peoples!

so how do you know it's winter? i know it's winter because i get ridiculously sick. yup that's right i'm sick. fun fun. i think that this time it's from karma and a little bit from germ spreading. the karma part i think comes from yelling at the old lady the rear ended me. but dude she rear ended me so she kinda deserved it. the second is from having too much fun last weekend. it was fun!

the old lady that rear ended me has been haunting me. she was so dumb. when i was trying to get all of her info she told me that she was in a hurry and didn't have time to deal with me. so being me i told her that she should have thought about that before she drove into the back of my car. stupid woman! so she told me there was no damage to my car but she was sooooo wrong and my car is getting a brand spankin new bumper! YAY car!

life has far too crazy lately at the end of this week i have 3 exams which i have been far too sick to study for. soon school will be all done and it'll be christmas break. i cannot wait for christmas break ... i am beyond excited for it! the 21st cannot come soon enough!

long time no posts in a long time. wowzas. i've been busy. school is crazy and so is work. seriously, working 5 days a week is nuts. it's lots of work.

guess what!!! i'm actually getting good grades this year. OMG that's amazing and so good! YAY

in other news.... i'm sleepy and john is cool. the home depot made us get new aprons. and they're super bright orange and since they were new the orange dye stained all of my light clothes orange. i was mad! however being the semi laundry guru that i am ... i shouted it out!!! oh ya i'm a genius.

kat's over right now and she's copying my notes for the native studies classes (i do not recommend this class .. it's alot of work and it sucks, but it is really interested ... tough call) that she missed and she seriously does not understand my jibber jabber notes. i'm not the best note taker, but they're my notes so i understand them. that'll learn her for not going to class. hahahahahaha ..... the punishment.

in more other news .... to the people i haven't seen in a long time: stop saying i'm mean, it's not that i don't like you, i'm busy (re: above .. working 5 days a week) and i really have to study. it's nothing personal so be nice!

other than that i'm tired. met some new people lately and they're cool. i hate midterms and i write my last one on tuesday. i've had 4 weeks of midterms... gah it sucks.

have things ever been nuts around here!!!

last night was sweet. OMG so much fun! kudos to aaron for making me go out. who knew the bar could be so much fun? honestly i didn't know that i knew that many people. i only had to buy one drink... how i love being a girl. too much happened... and it was all great!

so other than having an awesome weekend there's been alot going on. i'm back at work.. yay! all i do is answer phones, i love it. getting paid to talk on the phone is awesome. i always forget what i'm trying to say even though it's like all scripted and then i end up laughin halfway through. most of my favorite work people have quit, but there's still a few cool ones. i like work. it's fun :P

what else?? there were 2 going away BBQs tonight. what are the odds of that? i didn't go to either. instead i opted for staying home and watching a movie and calling one of the going awayers. i don't like going aways. they're really exciting cuz your leaving for an adventure, but yet they're sad cuz of all the missings. tomorrow i have to say goodbye to one of my friends. i'm not looking forward to that cuz i'm gonna miss him. but he's not gone for too long and he'll be back for christmas. yay

so in most exciting news of the recent events (that i feel like telling).... i got a new laptop. she's sexxy and i love her. she does strange things that i don't fully understand and it kinda freaks me out cuz i don't know why it's happening. but it's all good. hopefully i'll get my sexxy watch on tuesday and then my life will be almost complete.

only 15 days til yellowcard!!! OMG i finally get to go!
there's so much more to tell but i don't feel like sharing. hahaha!

how are all of you? i'm .... hmmm.... i'm gonna hafta go with grand.

yup... when you cancel out all of the broken things, everything is good. i have so many bruises and bones that are injured. i think i should be put in a bubble! that would be fun.

i've had 3 weeks off of work ... with pay!!!!! oh ya! it's been good. i'm starting to get bored and i'm getting calls from friends at work that think i might be dead. it's all good. being injured sucks though. everything always hurts. and it's so annoying cuz i never know when to heat or ice. it's so confusing! now i basically hafta wait for everything to start healing and then start working out so i don't have to have back surgery. i have to deal one of my least favorite things to prevent surgery. ick! at least it will make me feel better and prevent me from getting fat. i guess it has it's perks... but it still sucks.

What's up guys???

Yup! So I'm bored. There's nothing to do and not much I can do. To anyone that cares: Never ever hurt your back, cuz while you are dealing with the excrutiating pain, your life sucks! Man I am bored. I can't do anything unless it involves sitting around. But I can't even do that for a long time cuz it also hurts. I can't really go anywhere cuz I can only last about 2 hours before I start to get all achy and things start to hurt again. I think the only good thing is that I can't work and I'm getting paid to not work since I got hurt at work. Wazooo ... Money for doing nothing!!! It's like a dream come true, but it really hurts. I think under different circumstances I would be really happy.

I watched Ladder 49 tonight. It made me cry. I don't like movies that make me cry. I also did a bit of shopping with my mommy. The doctor said that walking will help ease the pain a little bit, so I walked around a store to try and make the hurting stop and it worked for a little bit. Tomorrow after yet another doctor appointment, I'm gonna go walking around the mall. If I'm feeling good enough, I might try on some clothes and maybe buy a new outfit to cheer me up. Funny story.... Since I've returned from Toronto, my taste in clothes has changed alot. It's pretty exciting! Well I'm excited about it. But I'm still a jeans and tshirt girl at heart.

Another exciting fact... I have the long weekend off!!!! I haven't had a long weekend off in like 3 years. So it's pretty spectacular.

Since the pain from sitting is starting to hit, I'm gonna make this short. So big HELLOs to everyone I haven't talked to in a while. Have a good long weekend!!!

the contractors have returned to my house. this time they are much worse. yesterday, they were oh so rude in the morning when i asked them what they would be doing. matt watched my house to make sure my dogs didn't eat the mean people. he did a good job!!! although i wouldn't have been too upset if my dogs had eaten them.

today, the workers are just as nasty as they were yesterday, but at least they have finally learned to close the door behind them. i don't think i would be so annoyed if they weren't completely messing up my day. here's the thing, they are working in the stairway. where's all of my stuff??? at the top of the stairs. therefore i cannot do anything. i'm never in the rest of the house. i live upstairs. i like it up there. oh and to make it even worse... they didn't block of the stairway properly so now it's even dirtier upstairs. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

i hate having work done in my house :( strang old men in your house is never fun, unless the have fresh baked cookies or lots of money that they are willing to spend on you. i'm not liking this. i want them to go away and be done the work. or at least be nice cuz then i won't mind them being here. is it so hard to be nice to someone? seriously, it's my house!

so in other news...

the stupid smelly worker people are not coming back to my house until tuesday so i can actually leave my house next time i have day off! tonight i will get to have my bed back so i can finally sleep again. i really don't like to share :(

what else is new??? i have this huge urge to move away. i know it'll prolly not happen for a few years but just knowing that i'm not going to be living in winnipeg for the rest of my life is a good thought. i like the peg and it will always be the place where i grew up but it's sooooo boring and i can't picture myself living here forever.

i have to work today. that has the potential to be fun.

wow guys... i had such a fun weekend! it was great! by far the best weekend.

big thanks to candice for the sweet hookups at old navy!

i officially started working on the floor at home depot yesterday. it was crazy. i don't know where anything is and i was so confused. and i got really dirty... not so much fun. there was this one guy that was really nice and then he started being a little too friendly in that way that gives you the no feeling. man it was awkward. so people at HD are pretty nice. some are just nasty though, i avoided them. there's alot of older men (like 50ish), i don't know why but they are really funny. it's strange how older men take on this weird fatherly role to anyone that is younger than them, like much younger. there was a really nice guy and his name was remi and he said he would call me reni just cause it would be funny. haha! that's about all i got guys. i have to go vacuum! PARTY
